ANOTHER LUCKY YEAR..

Running of the Shamrocks with ORCA in Vinita Oklahoma has become a bit of an Oddpaw tradition. It's where I shot my first official FastCATs and it's where my sweet Alfie chased down his DCAT. And now that Arbus is a real trash bag monster, it's one of his favorite tracks to chase the bunnies at. Plus, I've gotten to know a lot of dogs down at this track and it's always a blast catching up with my favorite group of lil' line biters.

We stayed at Redbud Resort, a great little RV/Tiny Home resort just 15 minutes from the event site -- and we even managed to snag my favorite cabin, the one that sits right on the pond. It's such a great spot to decompress after the long day and they're so accommodating to the dogs. We used to go stay on the rental homes along the lake down there, but this spot is quickly becoming our favorite place to be when we're down in Vinita.

It's also one of the best tracks we've had the pleasure to run the dogs on, both for FastCAT and CAT. Looking forward to some CATs and AKC coursing with ORCA in May, and also VERY excited to be one of the photographers covering the AKC NLCC in December! I feel so lucky to have so many of these great events AND tracks so close, because lure coursing really is one of my favorite sports to photograph.
